In 1974 Paul Meerbergen set up Brasschaats Immobiliën Kantoor after working for an Antwerp-based Real Estate Agency for over 8 years.

Joined by his son, Peter Huyghe, in 1988 together they have developed one of the best offices in the North of Antwerp.

In January 2007, Paul Meerbergen jr also joins the company after two years of  activity in the real estate market.

In October 2007, the two brothers opened a second office called "Metropool Immo" and  located in the trendy area of Antwerp "Het Eilandje".
